The Industries Marketing team is looking for a Public Sector Marketing Manager who is dynamic, creative, and self-starting. You will contribute to our values based approach to help improve the health of the community we live in.The opportunity requires a collaborative, dynamic, resilient, positive and organised marketing professional with a proven history of success coordinating integrated marketing campaigns. This position requires the formation of an integrated marketing plan aligned to deliver on our key Government and Healthcare business goals. The role includes hands-on execution with the day-to-day coordination and program management of all aspects of the initiatives and campaigns.As a positive and passionate team player you will work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver aggressive pipeline generation and lead growth. You'll have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with key sales stakeholders and present results.Proven experience in programmatic demand generation through integrated campaigns is important as well as experience working in Government collaborating with external agencies to effectively execute projects on time and on budget. Analytical capability is key for understanding and managing demand generation, forecasting, budgeting, lead flow, and the many moving parts involved in running an effective marketing machine.Responsibilities:
Assist with the development and delivery of breakthrough ideas and innovative campaigns. This requires collaboration with other marketing specialists to deliver experiments and innovation in our Australian market strategy for net-new business via all relevant mediums and channels (e.g. webinars, 3rd party associations, digital, influencers, PR/media, social media, live events, sales programs etc).
Work with the industry's most respected sales team to support the execution of collaborative programs that help find new buyers and cross-sell into existing accounts. Publish and monitor frequent campaign scorecards to share results, learnings and best practices with key stakeholders; adjust the plans and priorities to stay focussed on pipe generation targets.
Contribute to marketing plan development and work with Industry Marketing Director, Sales and Marketing Leadership to finalise and prioritise the end-to-end marketing programs and strategy for Public Sector across Australia and New Zealand, and then lead the execution, launch and maintenance of these.
Have the capability to orchestrate, negotiate, prioritise and manage project deliverables with other members of the marketing and communications organisation as needed (including digital, PR, creative, social, communications, events, industry and segment marketing, customer marketing and marketing operations).
Effectively collaborate and manage agencies to help scale delivery and impact of programs across digital, creative and face-to-face events.
Coordinate enablement of sales development and sales programs/telemarketing resources working with Go-to-Market industry leads.
Improve and apply processes and best practices to ensure program success, making programs globally visible and available, measure outcomes and manage budgets to maximise impact.
Experience and Skills Required:
Bachelors degree in Commerce/Business/Marketing/Communications.
3+ years B2B marketing experience in a campaign manager or marketing manager capacity.
Knowledge of Public Sector focused marketing.
5+ years experience managing and developing integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand, pipeline and revenue.
Be a highly professional team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities.
Proven track record of managing B2B marketing campaigns throughout the pipeline funnel across web, social, email, as well as in-person events and other activities, and experience of driving quantifiable ROI.
Strong communication and storytelling skills leveraging data analysis (with Powerpoint, Google docs, salesforce.com, and more)
Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.
Ability to lead and contribute to projects with confidence and rigour across cross functional teams.
