The selected candidate will own the vision and strategy for the Studios teams, define their operating plan and oversee its execution with a focus on agile innovation, stakeholder success and operational excellence. The VP will be a player-coach, leading with positive influence, working with their team members to solve complex problems and actively supporting the team’s development. Partnering collaboratively with internal customers and stakeholders beyond the Commercial Solutions Organization, this leader will work with a “Salesforce first” mentality. The job requires a mix of high-performance, high-integrity and high EQ: the leader will thrive with transparency, open communication and collaboration. This position reports directly to the SVP, Commercial Solutions Engineering.EnablementThe AMER Solutions Enablement team is impactful, resourceful and stakeholder-focused. They empower the Commercial and Enterprise Solutions teams through timely, innovative and right-sized training and enablement. Partnering globally with other enablement teams, they execute high quality training programs designed to drive high-performance, productivity and sales success.Solutions Engineering Graduate Training Program (Scouts Program)The AMER Scouts Program provides a comprehensive, scalable and repeatable on-boarding and enablement experience for new college graduates. It focuses on scale, equality and innovation, by offering new grads the inside track to a growing career field at the intersection of both Sales and Technology within our Solutions organization. The Scouts Training Program directly supports Salesforce's growth to $20B and beyond, and embodies our core values of serving our customers and Ohana to enable their success within the context of the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions. Q-BranchOur global Q-Branch team partners closely with Sales and Solutions teams to offer innovative uses of technology and creative services, such as: Demo Engineering; Q-Labs (App prototyping & creation at speed) ; Creative Strategy (Video & Creative) and the Proposal Team (RFP). Q-Branch is the trusted innovation engine that enables Global Distribution to maximize ACV and productivity. Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Technical Sales, Solutions Engineering, Consultative Selling, Talent Development - a minimum of 6 years of leadership experience
Extensive experience leading complex, highly matrixed organizations. Must have first hand experience in achieving business scale through productivity and people development.
Must have a solid understanding of modern digital technology, user experience trends and approaches, and a customer-centric focus. Knowledge of CRM technologies or other Enterprise Business Applications.
Capable of partnering with cross-functional executives at the highest levels of our organization globally, to discuss strategic topics as well as drive regular operational reviews with a focus on accountability and collaboration. Able to present to a business or technical audience.
Adaptable to a changing environment and customer requirements. Able to thrive in a very fast-paced environment. Strong listening and analytic capabilities, and excellent execution skills.
Strong track record of recruiting, developing and retaining a high performing organization
Experience managing cultural nuances of global scaled teams and stakeholders
Experience managing large organization with different teams
Experience leading geographically dispersed global teams
Commercial sales experience - experience selling a broad product portfolio
Generational leadership skills
4 year college degree is preferred
