This role will be responsible for leading the the Data Products group within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. It will require managing a high performance team of product managers to engage customers, set strategy, define roadmaps, and work with engineering to deliver and guide the execution, ensuring realization of business impact. The role is highly cross-functional and requires a candidate that enjoys navigating ambiguity, working in a fast-paced environment, aligning exec stakeholders, collaborating with teams across time-zones and thinking globally. This leader is accountable to ACV and pipeline growth for the products, working in strong collaboration with our go-to-market strategy, sales, sales enablement, alliances, and marketing organizations. The individual is expected to work with senior level customer stakeholders to drive adoption.Responsibilities:

  • Leading technical strategy for Marketing Cloud across all data oriented products for Marketing Cloud

  • Responsible for the end to end product life cycle. This includes: market needs, product vision and strategy, roadmap creation and communication, release planning, requirements gathering, functional specification all the way through to customer enablement and success and leading team of product managers.

  • Develop and execute a go-to market strategy & plan in collaboration with marketing, sales, sales enablement, sales support and product teams

  • Develop and curate sales enablement assets including presentations, vidoes, demos, solution maps, white papers, data sheets, etc.

  • Perform the role fo champion to promote and evangelize the product and new features with marketing, sales, support, professional services, partners and customers

  • Engage directly with customers during pre sales and post sales implementations to ensure the product will help them reach their desired business outcomes

  • Develop and nurture a high performance team of product managers and link performance to overall business objectives

  • Participating in strategic planning for and delivery of expansion of the Marketing Cloud into new and existing markets.

  • Requiring practical, real world problem solving skills, as this team moves fast, and your role will be to help unblock barriers.

  • Prioritizing and reprioritizing technical projects and initiatives based on new projects to our portfolio and cutting others.

  • Build a vision, roadmap and strategy for Marketing Cloud Data Platform and evangelize it with our customers, partners and employees

  • Leverage market analysis, competitive knowledge, and customer research to define product roadmap

  • Work with a global engineering team to deliver products over various releases

  • Present technical product and roadmap to customer executives in our world-class executive briefing center

Qualifications:

  • High energy and passion for the job

  • Leadership DNA, proven ability to excite and lead a product team

  • Experience managing product management teams

  • Experience managing engineering development teams

  • Experience in marketing technology products

  • Equivalent of 10+ years of product management or similar experience

  • Experience leading and working with teams internationally

  • Expertise building industry specific solutions and/or selling industry specific solutions to businesses

  • Experience in working in fast-paced startup environments and also large enterprise enterprise software companies

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines or equivalent experience in technical leadership roles
