Salesforce.org is building a brand new social impact platform to engage an army of citizen philanthropists. We are seeking a UX Designer to help build from the ground up as we embark on building the next generation of technology for nonprofits and their corporate partners.

As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating the user experience across the entire product portfolio, including desktop and mobile applications. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams, lead design sessions with customers and/or external partners, and use a sharp eye to ensure adherence to quality guidelines and the application of UXbest practices on all our projects.

It will be your role to drive innovation, creativity, and to think outside of the box. You will be working hands on with the executive and product teams to take ideas and translate them to technical deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Rapidly create flow diagrams, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks and prototype.

  • Support cross-functional teams to ensure implemented features are consistent with the design and is of the highest quality.

  • Provide thought leadership in promoting and applying user-centric design thinking on projects.

  • Design the user experience, including storytelling, personas, process flows and interactions.

  • Communicate design direction to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work with UX Architect and team to maintain quality and consistency.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in UX, with well-rounded expertise in visual and interaction design.

  • Solid experience with either enterprise or consumer social applications.

  • Understanding of native mobile technologies and front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience with mobile design a plus.

  • Proven track record of creating and shipping designs with clarity and consistency.

  • Ability to generate multiple UX solutions for a given problem.

  • Ability to clearly communication design direction and research findings to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to function as a bridge across Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.

  • Have experience creating animation with html/css/Adobe After Effects a plus.
