ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We're looking for a writer to join the Customer Experience Team to write success content for our Nonprofit and Higher Ed customers.

You're a strong writer who's independent, driven, creative, and detail oriented. You're a team player, but you can work independently and figure things out on your own. You have strong problem solving skills, the ability to juggle multiple complex projects, and an interest in learning (and writing about) new technologies. You have a natural intellectual curiosity and aren't afraid to ask questions. You work well with product owners, and other writers. You like to produce different kinds of content, including Trailhead content. You're interested in writing about complex products for an audience of Salesforce administrators and other non-technical business users.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Translate and extend current Salesforce.org success content into Trailhead units, modules and trails.

  • Research, develop, and document Salesforce solutions for Nonprofit and Higher Ed

  • Ensure alignment with Trailhead branding and guidelines.

  • Work closely with our learning design team to deliver content that aligns with our overall training and certification strategy

  • Maintain and manage updates and revisions to Salesforce.org Trailhead content

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years documentation or marketing writing experience

  • Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, and team development skills

  • Strong customer advocacy skills

  • Great organizational abilities

  • Cross-functional team experience and influence

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, creative writing, or communications field or equivalent work experience

  • Experience documenting SaaS applications or enterprise-class software
