Success Content Specialist, Higher Education -


We are looking for a smart and scrappy writer with Salesforce Administration experience to craft technical content for our higher education customers. A customer-facing position, the Success Content Specialist will help create and deliver webinars, Knowledge Articles, blog posts, e-books and related content, in order to help customers achieve success with Salesforce.

You are: a self-starter who's collaborative, creative, and passionate about the success of our higher ed customers. You're a fast, thorough writer who knows how to translate complex topics into easy-to-understand copy and graphics. You enjoy talking to groups about technology, know how to engage a community on social media, and can create the kind of content that works in a mobile, social world. And, of course, you have a deep affinity for using data to drive performance.

This role sits on the Customer Experience team as a part of the larger Customer Success Group, and will work closely with Industry Solutions, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and our vibrant community of partners and customers.


  • Craft compelling content that supports customer success strategies and that positions as a thought leader in the higher ed sector.

  • Collaborate with other members of the Customer Experience team, and with the partner and customer community, to produce informative content in a wide range of formats. This includes content for webinars, blog posts, e-books, presentations, case studies, and demo videos.

  • Deliver live, technical webinars to large groups of customers and occasionally present content at user group meetings and other events.

  • Engage with the community on the Power of Us Hub to solve technical issues, position as a thought leader, and generally support customer success.

  • Assist with content strategy by sourcing topics that would be of interest to the higher ed community and putting them in the pipeline for content creation.

  • Support our cross-functional content initiatives by developing and implementing strategic content and social marketing plans in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Use data-driven insights to optimize our content for a range of channels and audiences.


  • 3+ years experience in Salesforce Administration, ideally within a higher education institution

  • 8+ years general work experience

  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform

  • Superior written communication and copywriting skills

  • Demonstrated ability to design and develop innovative, multimedia content

  • Expertise using PowerPoint and Google Slides to develop presentations that effectively translate ideas and messaging into concise, compelling graphic material

  • An understanding of and passion for Salesforce and our technology

  • Experience in the higher ed sector (and/or experience working with customers in that sector)

  • Exceptional team player and collaborator who can deliver on the needs of multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • Energy, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn and perform in a fast-paced environment

  • Preferred: Experience using Camtasia, Quicktime, or other screen recording software

  • Preferred: Experience with Higher Education Data Architecture (HEDA)
