Position Summary

We are looking for a creative, talented, passionate and well-rounded product marketer to deliver world-class product marketing for Sales Cloud Einstein. Great candidates have a passion for products and working with teams that build them, as well as the sales teams that sell them. They search out the purpose behind the products and translate it into value, and find creative ways to illustrate this value. They have a knack for transforming the complex into simplicity. They love writing, communicating visually, and presenting. Lastly and most of all, great candidates must have a passion for customer success and telling stories from our customers’ perspective.

Additionally, this role will partner with other teams to deliver our website and digital presence, through-sales campaigns and enablement, to-customer campaigns, and our overall consideration funnel content strategy. This product marketing professional will help create product messaging and positioning, product launches, and competitive content. Additionally, this role will drive awareness about Sales Cloud Einstein programs before and during Dreamforce 2018.

This PMM will work across teams, products, and functions, from diving into the market to develop market subject matter expertise, to building buyer and market profiles, to sitting in on customer calls with the sales team, and working to build the brand and champion the Sales Cloud Einstein position and messaging across content, market-facing collateral, events and on the website. The PMM will partner with the broader Sales Cloud GTM team to deliver impactful sales plays and content.

RESPONSIBILITIES & IMPACT

  • Work closely with other Sales Cloud Einstein PMMs and Product Managers on content related to product launches, sales enablement, awareness development, and pipeline generation.

  • Create content including positioning statements, datasheets, whitepapers, ebooks, website copy, campaign content, sales enablement materials (eg, FAQs, quick start guides), videos (eg, product demo videos), and more.

  • Work closely with Sales Cloud Einstein PMMs and Sales Cloud GTM team to create go-to-market strategies across use multiple cases and deliver sales enablement presentations and tools.

  • Work with creative teams and agencies to ensure our brand and message are maintained across customer-facing assets, advertising and social campaigns.

  • Develop product expertise, engage customers, evangelize key stories, and can deliver our differentiation to customers in the EBC (executive briefing center).

  • Ensure our messaging flows through all Sales Cloud demo assets and content.

  • Present at Dreamforce ‘18.

  • Technical experience with Microsoft Exchange and/or Google Gmail a bonus.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years experience in product marketing at a high tech company, or similar. MBA a plus, but not required.

  • Creative thinker that can generate innovative marketing ideas and lead a cross-functional team of stakeholders to drive execution.

  • Experience working with direct distribution (sales) teams and channel partners.

  • Hands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets, including viral on-message product demo videos and succinct slide pitch-decks.

  • Dynamic, confident personality with ability to successfully define and drive project execution with minimal guidance amidst multiple priorities and goals.

  • Experience with business processes such as revenue recognition, finance, sales, ops, marketing, customer support, collaboration.

  • Strong skills in communication, writing and ability to work well cross-functionally.

  • Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence.

  • Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.

  • Proven track record of speaking in front of internal, external, and global audiences.

  • Technical experience with Microsoft Exchange and/or Google Gmail a bonus.
