This unique opportunity puts you at the center of marketing and thought leadership for higher education solutions at In this role you will drive execution for the higher education executive engagement strategy. You will engage with our customers and some of the best and brightest minds in their fields to capture, distribute, and amplify technology innovation in the education sector.


  • Drive content, planning and program development for executives at key events: Higher Education Summit, Dreamforce, CIO Councils, CMO Councils and others.

  • Develop C-level messaging for enterprise-level higher education institutions; develop and execute marketing plan designed to engage this executive audience.

  • Build and execute executive engagement programs to establish as a thought leader, an innovator and strategic partner for higher education institutions.

  • Support higher education strategic account sales program with content and sales enablement tools.

  • Support higher education analyst relations and meetings

Skills and Experience

  • Experience managing executive-level relationships

  • Passion for technology and its opportunity to help education institutions and create a bigger impact

  • 5+ years in tech communications, content marketing, product marketing, content strategy or all of the above, with emphasis on marketing to C-level executives

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. MBA a plus (but we also love brilliant people who didn't go to business school)

  • Demonstrated experience with cloud/SaaS and CRM with a preference for candidates with Salesforce product experience

  • Working knowledge and understanding of the higher education sector

  • High energy, charismatic, innovative, creative individuals with stellar public speaking skills

  • Proven track record in performing well in fast paced, dynamic and vague environment

  • Collaborative and confident individual with the ability and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the work done in alignment with common goals

  • Demonstrated ability to bootstrap and grow a new program at a fast-moving organization

  • Messaging, writing, editing, and overall marketing skills

  • Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams

  • Up to 25% travel including occasional international travel required
