This position will be based at our headquarters in San Francisco. The Senior Financial Analyst of Revenue Finance will be responsible for managing top line revenue reporting, corporate revenue models, and planning for new revenue streams as the business evolves. This function will work collaboratively with other teams that provide inputs to Revenue modeling and report on a monthly and quarterly basis variance reporting and changes to revenue forecast guidance. With top-line exceeding 40% YoY growth, this role calls for a strong, proactive individual who has a proven track record who can autonomously drive projects in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
Manage Salesforce.org’s Global Revenue Portfolio, inclusive of recurring license subscriptions, professional services, partner sponsorships, and referral fees
Manage, own, and improve existing revenue models for all revenue streams above Develop and improve revenue models for new and changing revenue streams
Work closely w/ the teams that own data which directly impact revenue forecasting such as bookings and customer attrition
Manage, analyze, and forecast loss of business metrics and gross margin
Prepare Annual Revenue Plan, Quarterly re-forecasts of Revenue guidance, and 5 year Long Range Plan revenue forecast
Understand key drivers and levers to revenue recognition, planning, and modeling
Understand revenue rec implications from adoption of ASC 606
Present to management on a monthly basis Revenue variance reporting
Build detailed financial, scenario based short term and long term revenue models to evaluate growth, metrics, and funding for business investments
Assist in other ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or CPA preferred
6+ years of FP&A or revenue finance experience, including experience at a global company
Experience with local FX and international exchange rates
P&L, Revenue (SaaS) and COGS experience strongly preferred
Track-record in process re-engineering and optimization
Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Able to think strategically and operate effectively with management
Experience with the following systems- Workday and Anaplan
Audit or accounting experience preferred or Financial Statement (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) acumen a must
Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously and under tight timelines; flexibility to adjust on the fly to new demands; self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
Team player – ability to work collaboratively within the group and across functions
Superb work ethic and integrity – enthusiastic, self-starter and proactive
