This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of solution selling at the most innovative software company. The Solution Engineer Intern is responsible for gaining a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform in order to help our customers leverage technology to solve their most important business challenges. To accomplish this, the Solution Engineer must be excited to learn at a rapid pace and combine their technical expertise, business acumen, and creativity to add value to the Solution Engineering team.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and interview individuals from Solution Engineering and supporting departments to understand how the organization is structured and works together

  • Complete product training certifications

  • Create and present customized demo components

  • Present Salesforce solutions on customer-facing webinars

  • Assist in customer-facing sales cycles

  • Respond effectively to RFPs

Required Skills

  • Must be a current rising Junior or Senior and enrolled in a co-op program with your school. (This internship will last 6 months, Jan-June)

  • Degree Concentration preferred: Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent. Minor in technical subject considered as well

  • A strong business and technical background

  • Strong Sales Acumen and understanding of sales cycle.

  • Strong communication, networking, presenting skills

  • Preferred prior working experience (can include part time or over school breaks)

  • Adaptable to change and enjoys learning in a fast paced environment

  • Long term interest in Solution Engineering roleStart Date: January 2019
