Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate, data-driven equality champion to join the team. Key to this role is the ability to partner and integrate diversity and inclusion within the business, HR and recruiting processes with the ability to move fast, navigate ambiguity, and collectively make an impact.

As an Equality Business Partner, you will develop strategies to:

  • Align the Equality goals to individual business leaders to create a more inclusive company culture. Partner directly with leaders to assess their current state and identify best practices to move them forward.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders and act as a consultant with the ability to influence decision-makers.

  • Use critical-thinking skills to apply relevant data, analysis, and proven best practices to improve programs.

  • Tightly align initiatives with recruiting strategies to attract, retain and engage talent

  • Increase the volume of skilled applicants and hires from underrepresented backgrounds, support the advancement of internal talent, and continue to build an inclusive workplace for everyone at Salesforce

  • Develop and implement measurable equality projects, strategies, and initiatives to achieve enterprise goals and objectives that further business strategies and goals

  • Tactics to achieve this may involve providing coaching/feedback to senior leaders, partnering with business leaders/teams to develop programs, providing appropriate data to define the opportunity and show progress, partnering with external organizations on equality initiatives, etc.

  • Attend and present at internal equality events as needed to represent Salesforce (note that some of these events occur during mornings and evenings and may require travel)

    The Person Most Successful in this Role:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

  • 7+ years of program management experience and/or HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience

  • Must have deep involvement in Diversity and Inclusion development

  • Previously have developed high impact programs from scratch and have demonstrated a positive impact on the business

  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement and execute holistic strategies to solve organizational gaps

  • Flexible, fast-moving, execution-oriented. Track record of “getting it done”

  • Ability to track and report metrics

  • Outstanding writing / presentation-building skills and is a compelling communicator.

  • Ability to demonstrate awareness and understanding of multiple facets of diversity: cultural, ethnic, racial, religious, gender, educational, age, sexual orientation, sexual identity, and other differences that make us unique yet part of our #SalesforceOhana

  • Sense of humor is a must plus fun, energetic and collaborative personality
