Ready to find your #dreamjob?Description:The Finance & Strategy team is the global champion for smart growth & operational alignment - delivering financial predictability & control, business accountability, insight to optimize decisions and resources, and shareholder success.The Senior Analyst, Corporate Planning role will support executive decision making related to the financials of the company, focusing on annual planning and quarterly outlooks, as well as execution to our internal goals and external guidance, working closely with functional finance business partners and the broader Corporate team. This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Finance and Strategy.Responsibilities:
Assist the annual planning and quarterly outlook processes for the company; partner with functional F&S teams to ensure integrity of our financial plans
Prepare recurring deliverables that inform the CFO and executive committee regarding key financial drivers including business performance, FX exposure, economic trends, etc.
Conduct regular ad-hoc analyses to inform key business decisions on behalf of the company’s CFO and EVP of Finance; distill insights for exec-level messaging
Become an expert on how foreign exchange rate fluctuations impact the Company, and report findings to management on a recurring basis
Provide analytical insights to support recommendations to the CFO for financial metric guidance to Wall Street
Partner with Investor Relations on quarter- and year-end activities
Develop strong understanding of Salesforce business model and be able to translate into financial impact
Be a subject matter expert for Hyperion/Essbase to maximize F&S efficiency and streamline management reporting
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics or related relevant areas
3+ years of work experience in analytically demanding financial or strategic services role such as Investment Banking, Management Consulting or Corporate Finance / FP&A at a top tier firm or Fortune 500
Very strong Excel modeling skills for developing complex financial analyses and decision support models using logical reasoning
Intellectually curious, fueled by a proactive approach to continuously expand one’s skillset
Extensive experience in creating PowerPoint presentations for management and executive teams
Ability to set priorities and manage multiple work streams simultaneously with limited guidance, while keeping management informed by providing proactive status updates
Proven and effective cross-functional communication skills (both written and verbal) in a high-paced, dynamic environment
High tech or software industry experience preferred. SaaS industry experience a plus
Experience with multi-dimensional databases, e.g. Hyperion or other financial systems
Proven process-improvement track record
Highly motivated, proactive, self-aware, collaborative, flexible, responsive and positive
