Join us as we empower growth companies to sell, service and market faster and smarter than ever before.Role Description: The Product Marketing Manager is an exceptional communicator, project manager, and evangelist for small and medium-sized business (SMB = 1-200 employees) offerings at Salesforce. The candidate has a positive attitude and works well with different teams and individual contributors. He/she has a strong understanding of enablement and events that work in the SMB market and is focused on continual improvement.The focus of this role is broken into two parts, both requiring strong collaboration with sales leadership - from the VP to the AE level:Executive Events - The candidate will develop, organize and execute events with 10-50 guests at a high volume. The PMM will work closely with the sales teams to communicate event goals, metrics, and progress. He/she will also be able to build thought leadership content that adds value to the attendees of our events. Enablement - The candidate will be responsible for creating enablement content and delivering that content to both small and large audiences. The candidate should be a strong presenter and be able to quickly iterate on feedback to meet the needs of the team. Partner closely with sales leadership, campaigns, CSG, sales programs, and other internal groups to build enablement, programs and events from ideation, development, execution, and measurement
Assist in managing executive programs series (strategy/logistics/execution), sports marketing, hands-on product workshops, and thought leadership presentations both before and after events
Create compelling and easy to understand internally facing content including sales training, competitive positioning, FAQs and cheat sheets
Confidently deliver presentations to audiences of all sizes - internal and external
Continue to extend Salesforce’s SMB vision with inspiring and disruptive marketing that showcases our product innovation and thought leadership
Produce high impact externally facing assets including thought leadership content, customer stories, webinars, data sheets, solution guides and more.
Represent Salesforce SMB and our solutions at Salesforce and 3rd party events in an effort to generate pipeline, develop customer relationships, and extend our brand
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
3-5+ years of experience in Product or Industry Marketing and/or 5+ years in Enterprise Technology
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Constantly pushes past the status quo, innovates, and executes his/her own projects to empower sales teams to close more deals
Experience working closely with sales teams to hit shared revenue targets
Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
Ability to shift priorities quickly and manage multiple projects simultaneously as the needs of the business change
Strong public speaking skills are a must
Exceptional project and time management skills – highly organized, able to prioritize, detail focused, results-driven, and accountable
@Dynamic, articulate, and confident personality with ability to successfully drive projects in tight timeframes with minimal guidance
Flexible, team player who is willing to assist in a variety of projects
Ability to work a flexible schedule with travel ranging from 30-40%.
Experience with, knowledge of and passion for SMB, marketing and technology
