Come join the SMB product marketing team for our newest product that is reimagining CRM for small business, Salesforce Essentials.This role will be responsible for putting our Essentials customers first in everything we do. But this isn't traditional customer marketing. You'll engage and grow a vibrant community of thousands of small businesses, propel individuals with bigger career ambitions to start life-changing Salesforce careers, and create a portfolio of customer stories that live in every marketing tactic. You will help our customers inspire other customers to change their lives and their businesses.Our team is growing fast, and we are looking for someone that embraces new opportunities, is motivated by career growth and who challenges themselves to deliver consistent excellence.Responsibilities:
Grow SMB trailblazer community by 2-3x and build a community of raving Essentials fans on Twitter.
Build and operationalize the ongoing program to help aspiring admins get relevant job experience by pairing them with Essentials customers who need help.
Create a library of reference customers for events, website, social and campaigns while creating new forums for them to share their stories.
Create compelling internal and external customer-facing presentations
Drive the creation of thought leadership content and webinars to deliver leads
Partner with Product Management to align on key functionality to build plans to use customers to evangelize new innovation
Listen to customers, capture their feedback and advocate on their behalf to build products that fit their needs.
Dream up engaging product demonstrations that are used on stage, in videos and are the basis for customer engagements in the sales process
Confidently deliver presentations to audiences of all sizes (ranging from one person to hundreds of people)
Develop effective sales enablement customer materials like product pitch decks, demo videos, customer success stories and email templates.
3-5+ years experience in marketing.
Experience in community/social management and customer marketing a plus, though not required
Proven leadership and ability to collaborate and motivate teams
Experience managing senior executive stakeholder relationships
Hands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets (including on-message product demo videos, sharp succinct slide pitch-decks)
Strong presentation skills -- comfortable presenting in diverse audiences
Exceptionally detail oriented with the ability to thrive in fast moving, ambiguous environments
Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content
Strong verbal communication and writing skills and ability to work across business lines, build strong trusted relationships with customers, and present to executive leadership
Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence
MBA a plus (but we also love brilliant people who didn't go to business school)
