The Brand & Communications team is looking for a manager passionate about communications to join our exciting team. The Global BrandComms team is responsible for overall brand and communications awareness and stewardship of the brand, strategic communications and brand insights. Our team is made up of storytellers, constantly thinking of new ways to talk about the impact of our community of Changemakers. We work in a fun, fast-paced environment supporting the entire organization. We are strategic thinkers, looking to push the boundaries and create a memorable brand. More importantly, we are writers and we want strong creative writers on board!

As a member of the BrandComms team, this role will be responsible for developing and supporting strategic communications across the organization - primarily focused on the Impact and Global Philanthropy & Engagement. We are seeking someone who can develop communications plans, manage projects and someone with strong writing and deskside research skills. We’re a small but mighty team and looking for someone in this role who is eager to learn and contribute to the success of the team. Primary Responsibilities

  • Ongoing strategic communications support for the Impact team - inclusive of communications plans, content review, content development, and deck creation and coordination with all internal stakeholders

  • Communications support for the Global Philanthropy & Engagement team working closely with Sr. Manager in GP&E to align on all marketing goals and deliverables

  • Support for Impact Labs and Pro-bono teams on communications initiatives

  • Frequently communicate with relevant directors on ongoing activity and keep well detailed notes, project plan updates and well-organized processes.

  • Manage monthly internal newsletter process, including content development and coordinate with employee services

  • Support .org brand campaign, Changemaker Correspondents, with strategic communications and amplification

Professional Experience/ Skills required

  • 4 year degree with strong academic performance

  • 5-7 years of communications experience

  • Experience coordinating projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with samples of written content

  • Strong emotional intelligence

  • Ability to think strategically and manage multiple projects at the same time

  • Excellent research skills

  • Expert in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google apps
