Customers should be free to bring any service to our platform (think version control, test services, big data).As Senior Director of Product Management of Cloud Ecosystem, you'll:
Be responsible for ensuring customers can easily integrate services and tools from other cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, HashiCorp, Atlasssian, etc) with Heroku.
Own the product direction of the Heroku Elements marketplace
Key Competencies & Responsibilities
Experience in add-on integrations, preferably in cloud environments.
Thorough understanding of the needs of developer, devops, administrators, and services partners in cloud software development. Familiarity with modern software development practices.
Exceptional sensibility for UX, especially in software engineering situations.
Strong analytical capabilities. You excel at and enjoy building models of customer behavior from product metrics.
10+ years of product management or equivalent experience with demonstrated ability to discover opportunities, and then define and deliver products.
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and projects
Strong customer and stakeholder empathy and understanding. You must be not only the voice of the customer, but at various times the voice of marketing, finance, engineering, support and ops. You must be able to channel many points of view.
