Title: Global Philanthropy & Engagement Operations Manager (Data & Metrics)
Reporting To: Senior Director of Operations and Planning
Location: Flexible, Reporting Manager in San Francisco
Reporting to the Director of Operations & Planning, the Operations Manager will support the overall business operations of the Global Philanthropy & Engagement team.
Key areas of oversight include:
Salesforce Reporting: Support for individual workgroups within our Global Philanthropy & Engagement Team to ensure that we have a set of unified dashboards and reports that create a “single source of truth” and work with internal technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to our reporting; ensure that all reporting processes and standards are properly documented.
Quarterly Metrics: Publish internal quarterly reports showing progress against stated goals, and support the annual planning process to refine existing metrics and introduce new ones that provide deeper insight into our programmatic outcomes.
Ad Hoc Reporting Requests: Field all internal reporting requests from business partners including PR and marketing, ensuring that requests are responded to promptly and accurately, with strong backup documentation.
Budgeting: Support the monthly expense approval process for our Global Philanthropy & Engagement Team, including gathering individual workgroups’ requests, reviewing for alignment to policy, and packaging up those requests for approval by the EVP. Research and follow-through with improvements to streamline this process.
3-5 years experience in an operational/financial role, ideally within the social impact space
Advanced skills in Salesforce reporting and dashboarding; experience in other analytics tools including Einstein Analytics and Tableau is a plus
Ability to interpret large sets of data to more deeply understand behavior, and translate those understandings into actionable recommendations to improve our programs
Experience creating visual data representations of our metrics for internal presentations
Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and diplomatically both verbally and in writing to ensure that all projects are completed on time and with high quality
Enthusiasm for utilizing technology to drive efficiency, and strong technical skills in our key business systems
Flexible working style, and comfort working in an environment in which systems and processes are constantly evolving
