Right now, we’re looking for a top-notch Creative Technologist to help lead the charge. As Creative Technologist, you’ll work closely with business strategy and creative teams to conceptualize and fine-tune website user experience and collaborate with them to ensure end-to-end solutions are implemented efficiently and limited friction. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in an agency and/or internal creative department with a primary focus on digital where high quality results are required.
You will drive the front and back-end implementation of various digital initiatives including but not limited to website launches, experiments and digital campaigns supported by various web technologies.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
Providing technical guidance through project design, implementation, launch and maintenance
Willingness to drive solutions between business strategy, creative and technology teams
Ability to collaborate across departments to ensure high quality solutions, timely delivery and consistent focus
Developing website front-end and back-end code solutions and performing code reviews (while adhering to the latest coding standards)
Keeping a pulse on emerging technologies and techniques
Serving as a recognized subject matter expert within your fields of expertise
Clearly communicating project status, risks and challenges
We’re looking for a talented Creative Technologist with strong experience, which usually includes:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in UX architecture and development experience (creative agency experience desired)
Solid technical skills including Back-End integrations, Front-End development, Testing and Production-Visual Design
Deep familiarity with the digital environment and a track record as a team player
Experience integrating with a multitude of backend platforms and architectures
An exceptional eye for design, motion and interactivity
Embraces flexibility and has a willingness to adapt to change as project and organization requirements evolve
Energy, a sense of humor and an open & curious mind (yes, these things really do matter)
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience in data exchange between application layers via XML and JSON
Experience with the following React, GatsbyJs and JQuery
Experience with Heroku and Node. Java, Ruby, Python, PHP, Go, Scala, and Clojure experience a plus.
Experience in creating and documenting architectural solutions and code
Knowledge of automated user-experience testing methods and tools such as Optimizely and Full Story
Proven ability in proposing, researching and implementing creative technology solutions
Experience with accessibility standards and their respective implementations
