Estamos buscando candidatos excepcionales para unirse a nuestro equipo de Ingenieros de Soluciones (SE) especializados en Educación Superior dentro de Salesforce.org. Si eres curioso intelectualmente, muy bueno resolviendo problemas y la inquebrantable creencia que con la tecnología correcta se puede resolver cualquier problema, incluso eliminar la hambruna en el mundo (no, lo decimos en serio!) entonces eres el candidato ideal para el puesto. Experiencia previa en ventas de tecnología empresarial en el tercer sector es altamente deseable. Poseer excelentes cualidades de comunicación y presentación es requerido. Un día típico en la vida de un SE de Salesforce.org es asi:

  • Descubre y analiza los objetivos y retos de un cliente y los mapea con el portafolio de soluciones de Salesforce

  • Diseña soluciones innovadoras para resolver esos retos y construye las soluciones sobre la plataforma de Salesforce. Presenta demostraciones personalizadas que siguen una historia alineada con los diferenciadores de la solución que son más importantes para la organización

  • Presenta la infraestructura tecnológica de Salesforce, demostrando conocimiento profundo de hardware, software, redes y seguridad

  • Responde efectivamente RFIs y RFPs

  • Participa en entrenamientos y certificaciones para adquirir y mantener el conocimiento necesario para ser efectivo en el rol

  • Alcanza los objetivos trimestrales y anuales que son definidos de forma colaborativa con su gerente

  • Viaja a visitar los clientes en los países de Latinoamérica

  • Funciona efectivamente en el ambiente acelerado y de alta energía balanceando exitosamente múltiples proyectos en un ambiente de venta colaborativa

Cualidades requeridas:

  • Conocimiento, interés o experiencia en el sector de educación superior

  • Habilidad de trabajar como parte de un equipo para resolver problemas técnicos y de negocio en ambientes políticos diferentes

  • Sólidas habilidades de comunicación interpersonal verbal, escrita y de presentación

  • Probadas habilidades de manejo de tiempo y priorización en un ambiente de ventas dinámico

  • Experto técnico en alguna de las siguientes industrias (marketing digital, sistemas de datos empresariales y analíticos, inteligencia de negocios, analíticos de la web, CRM, búsquedas empresariales y sistemas de administración de contenidos)

  • Bachiller en Ciencias de la Computación, Ingeniería de Software, MIS, MBA o el equivalente en experiencia laboral

  • Experiencia previa como Ingeniero de Soluciones (SE)

Cualidades deseadas:

  • Valoraremos la experiencia trabajando con soluciones Salesforce en una función técnica

We're looking for exceptional candidates to join the Higher Education Solution Engineering team within Salesforce.org . If you possess intellectual curiosity, great problem solving skills and an unwavering belief that the right technology can solve any problem including world hunger (no really, we mean it!) then you are the ideal candidate for the job. Prior experience with technology and enterprise selling in the nonprofit industry is highly desirable. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must. Typical day in the life of a Salesforce.org SE looks like:

  • Discover and analyze individual customer goals and challenges and map those back into the Salesforce solution portfolio

  • Design innovative solutions to address challenges and build those solutions on the Salesforce platform. Present customized story-driven demonstrations aligned with key business value and solution differentiation.

  • Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with hardware, software, networking and security stack

  • Respond effectively to RFIs and RFPs

  • Participate in training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in role

  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives that you will define collaboratively with your manager

  • Travel domestically

  • Function effectively in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and successfully balance multiple projects in a team-selling environment

Necessary Skills

  • Knowledge, interest or background in the higher education market

  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve business and technical problems in varied political environments

  • Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proven time management & prioritization skills in a dynamic sales environment

  • Technical expertise in any of the following industries (digital marketing, enterprise data systems and analytics, business intelligence, web analytics, CRM, enterprise search and content management systems)

  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, MBA, or equivalent work experience

  • Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with Salesforce solutions in a technical capacity is a plus

  • Prior experience selling technology to nonprofits is a plus
