About the Position: Salesforce Marketing Cloud is currently seeking a Vice President for the Salesforce DMP Sales team to support North America. This person will play a key role as he/she leads this highly visible and motivated team that generates revenues and achieves individual, team and organizational quotas. The selected person will be a valuable contributor to the sales strategy, specific to Salesforce DMP, while providing definition and implementation of the plan for sales to achieve corporate objectives. Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple teams of 1 Regional VP & 4 – 8 AE's and drive overall sales strategy to develop and close new business within named and geographic accounts for the Salesforce DMP offering

  • Supporting direct reports by participating and leading in client meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required

  • Ongoing mentoring and development of sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new Regional Vice Presidents and Account Executives on the Salesforce DMP sales process

  • Build and retain winning sales teams

  • Conducting weekly forecast meetings

  • Coach direct reports regarding key account strategies to drive closure

  • Reporting on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management

  • Consistently monitors the sales activity of the team, and tracking the results

  • Aligns and leverages internal resources to build, develop, and close strategic account wins

Experience/Skills Required:

  • 7+ years of software sales experience in a sales management role

  • Proven record of sales success in a similar enterprise software application environment

  • Proven record of sales success selling/leading sales of a DMP solution

  • Successful track record in a complex enterprise software sales environment constructing large deals

  • Demonstrated success in building strategic customer relationships at the C level

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Must be able to thrive in a very fast paced environment

Desired Education/Experience:

  • MBA degree a plus

  • Prior digital marketing sales experience (DMP knowledge strongly preferred)
