The Role:

This position resides within Corporate Security Operations and is based out of Salesforce’s main office at 3 Avenue Octave Greard, Paris, and the successful candidate for this role will assist in overseeing all security operations within Salesforce’s offices across France which include Nantes, Lyon, and Grenoble. The Corporate Security Operations program is part of the Corporate Security & Safety Team, which is responsible for the safety, security, business continuity, and crisis response programs globally.

The Security Operations Senior Specialist is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for company employees, executives, clients, visitors, contractors, clients, and contractors by enforcing established security policies, procedures, practices, and guidelines. The candidate is expected to be well versed in company physical security operations while developing and executing physical security standards and procedures, supervising and inspecting contract security staffing, , engaging multiple vendors partners, conducting post-incident investigations, responding to company emergencies, writing formal reports, and effectively mitigating security-related incidents or credible threats to personnel.

The Security Operations Senior Specialist, France will be tasked with assisting in managing, implementing and improving security operations within Salesforce’s France, responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Effective and consistent coordination of efforts necessary for executing tactical security operations, including but not limited to vendor management, training, and coordination with stakeholders

  • Assists in the direction of contracted guard Operations in execution of business requirements including enforcement of corporate security standards

  • Ensures performance of the security contractors as measured by SLA's, KPI's, and other indicators

  • Participating and providing event security for small to medium size in-region internal events held within campus space

  • Write and submit formal security-related documentation such as incident reports, investigations documentation, security program proposals/recommendations, and other formal written communication.

  • Conduct corporate and field investigations, on company property, involving suspected or actual threats and incidents to include but not limited to: communication of threats, trespassing, criminal damage, company policy violations and illegal activities.

  • Conducting physical security inspections, surveys and other related activities in compliance with current policy and directives

  • Conducts security-related training and employee/contractor orientations when required

  • Serves in the on-call rotation as a backup for security operations emergency response

  • Provide support to the regional security lead as required

  • The role also includes limited travel within other EMEA countries and to HQ in San Francisco

Professional Experience/Skills Required:

  • The international language within Salesforce is English so candidates must be fluent in both spoken and written English

  • Minimum 5 years in physical security, risk management, loss prevention, emergency preparedness or law enforcement

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams and contracted guards, preferably in an open campus or multi-site environment

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills required.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and client requirements on an ongoing basis

  • Previous payroll, billing and scheduling experience preferred.

  • Team player and interacts well with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Detail Oriented

Professional Experience/Skills Preferred:

  • Multi-disciplinary backgrounds (e. g. Security Ops Management and Operations Center Management)

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and use of our business solutions

  • Investigations and Executive Protection experience

  • Able to juggle multiple projects and tasks

  • Thorough understanding of security related technologies and products is a plus

  • Skill in cost-benefit analysis and metrics reporting
