MuleSoft thrives off of the success of our customers, and we’re looking for a strategic and results-driven Regional Director, Customer Success to ensure that MuleSoft can engage, retain, and enable our customers to realize their business outcomes and fully leverage the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

As a Regional Director, Customer Success, you will lead a team and be responsible for the customer base for a region, guiding them along a path to their business outcomes and orchestrating resources across MuleSoft and the customer to accelerate the success and expansion of MuleSoft within each customer. You are equally as excited about MuleSoft solutions and customer outcomes as you are leading and inspiring a team, and you seamlessly partner with cross-functional regional leadership to ensure regional success.

What you’ll achieve:

1 month:

  • Internalize MuleSoft customer success stories and Customer Success systems and processes

  • Understand current state of regional performance across customer health, retention, and growth metrics

  • Engage cross-functional leaders within your region to understand the broader success metrics for the region

  • Be fully ramped and begin to own forecasting and prioritization for customer success in the region

3 months:

  • Fully accountable for the success of the customer base in the region

  • Own plans for ensuring the success of our largest customers and plans to drive adoption and expansion in our largest target customers

  • Own cross-functional relationships with other regional leaders, contributing to the overall business performance of the region

  • Own the strategic plan for the next 12-24 months for the region

  • Develop the Customer Success team, including hiring, career paths, development objectives, and development areas

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Self-starter with a proven track record of driving customer success and aligning in complex customer environments at the executive and departmental level

  • Experience leading teams with a history of creating and inspiring great teams who have deliver results

  • Mix of business and technical acumen with ability to engage and add value in discussions involving both technology and business strategy

  • Eager to contribute beyond your role and lead strategic initiatives to improve the customer experience with MuleSoft

  • Fanatical about customer success and tenacious at driving long-term customer value

  • Demonstrated history of data-enabled decision making and prioritization

  • Proven track record of leading seven figure engagements with enterprise customers and a demonstrated ability to guide strategy and deliver outcomes for the customers that resulted in material ACV growth

  • Passionate about technology--a natural, credible evangelist who is experienced in translating that passion into business impact for customers

  • Previous experience with open source solutions or with an annual subscription sales model is a plus

  • Willingness to travel and spend significant time onsite with strategic customers

  • Must have language requirements: Fluency in English and German
