Job Title: UKI Field Marketing, Financial Services & Public SectorLocation: London, UKRole Description:MuleSoft is looking for a well-rounded, detail-driven marketer with a “can do” attitude. In this role, you will support the planning, execution and management of field marketing for the Financial Services, Insurance & Public Sector markets in the UK & Ireland. This position is responsible for program management, analysis, tracking, reporting and strategic marketing initiatives. This position is perfect for the ambitious marketer who is looking to challenge oneself and work on account-based marketing, integrated campaigns, including demand generation, and events, to ultimately drive and mature MuleSoft pipeline. As a key member of the growing EMEA Marketing Team, your responsibilities include:
Acting as the local MuleSoft marketing liaison for the MuleSoft and Salesforce field teams, including the representation and strategic positioning of key executive programs, marketing programs and alliance partner marketing activities
Evaluating, measuring and reporting on strategic effectiveness and ROI for program efforts
Assisting the Marketing and Field Leadership team in the development of the annual marketing strategy in support of Sales objectives
Working with the UKI Marketing lead & EMEA Marketing Director to present / pitch the market strategy, campaign results and new programs to help build and mature pipeline
Working on multiple, simultaneous marketing programs that require both strategic thinking as well as high-speed tactical execution
Develop a complete understanding of the organisation
Develop a complete understanding of our business model
Develop a complete understanding of the Marketing motions globally, focus on UK & Ireland
Develop a complete understanding of the Marketing resource we have
Build relationships with local Field team, with a focus on the strategic accounts team
Become fully versed in MuleSoft’s version of Salesforce and Marketo
Develop a complete understanding of our core positioning and messages (KickStart)
Master our internal processes with little supervision including expenses, budget, planning, and reporting
Develop a complete understanding of our existing customer base
Develop a complete understanding of our existing partner ecosystem (VAR, SI, GSI)
Start to run campaigns in Marketo
Start formulating your marketing plan for 2020
Start executing independently campaigns and activities, including delivering a couple ofmilestone projects
Have your next 3-6 months of plans locked and loaded
Establish your own ‘personal’ brand and cadence
Bachelor level degree preferably with a Marketing, Communications or Business emphasis
3+ years of high-tech sales or marketing experience, preferably in a field facing role
Working knowledge of CRM application(s), MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
Strong project management skills and an ability to develop and deliver campaigns and programs within a high-velocity environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have the ability to communicate with team members at varying levels, conceptually and tactically
Ability to work independently against tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment keeping a sharp eye on detail and accuracy
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and think through problems to come up with innovative solutions
Experience successfully interfacing with external vendors and external marketing agencies
Occasional travel required
