Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate, data-driven equality champion to serve as the EMEA Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and measuring equality programs to develop, advance, and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce across the EMEA region.

  • The EMEA Lead will act as an extension of the headquarters team to bring customized Equality experiences and content to the EMEA market. Determine which programs should be run in respective markets by working closely with local partners in each market and adapt programming to the local market needs. Then create net new programs and content to fill any voids identified in the EMEA market.

  • Partner directly with executive stakeholders to assess their current state of diversity and inclusion, and identify best practices to move the company forward. Develop and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders.

  • Develop a robust understanding of the Equality issues within region that can potentially impact the Ohana.

  • Drive alignment and consensus across cross-functional teams within the organization while building equality allies through education and engagement.

  • Externally pursue and promote partnerships with local and national organizations, which advance the company’s mission of equality.

  • Collaborate, consult and partner with HR, Government Affairs, Legal and Recruiting to ensure all efforts are aligned and equality initiatives are supporting our overall strategy.

  • Use critical-thinking skills to apply relevant data, analysis and proven best practices to create and drive programs.

  • Serve as the “face” of the program to internal and external stakeholders and forge strong relationships in the community, attend regional conferences, and as appropriate take advantage of external speaking opportunities

  • Convey deep expertise with corporate social responsibility programs, corporate giving, volunteer programs and empowering volunteers.

Required Skillset & Experience

  • Demonstrates a track record of success creating and delivering executive level programming while also managing high profile projects

  • This person will have previously developed high-impact programs from scratch and have demonstrated positive impact for the business.

  • Strong English communication skills — written and spoken including storytelling with PowerPoint

  • Must have experience in Inclusion and Diversity development.

  • Ability to track and report metrics

  • Outstanding writing / presentation-building skills and is a compelling communicator.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience

  • Proficient in developing and implementing diversity, inclusion, learning and development initiatives

  • Ability to work effectively within a global team while influencing and contributing towards the development of the global platform

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking, re-prioritizing projects and communicating priority updates to stakeholders

  • Ability to demonstrate awareness and understanding of multiple facets of diversity: cultural, ethnic, racial, religious, gender, educational, age, sexual orientation, sexual identity, and other differences that make us unique yet part of our #SalesforceOhana

  • Sense of humour is a must plus fun, energetic and collaborative personality
