We’re here to help; visit us at Salesforce.org.We're looking for exceptional candidates to join the nonprofit Solution Engineering team within Salesforce.org . If you possess intellectual curiosity, great problem solving skills and an unwavering belief that the right technology can solve any problem including world hunger (no really, we mean it!) then you are the ideal candidate for the job. Typical day in the life of a Salesforce.org SE looks like:

  • Understand Customer goals and challenges through customer discovery sessions, normally with senior SEs and to position the Salesforce platform and products to deliver value

  • Develop the use cases, storylines and value propositions in conjunction with the account SE and play a core role in the customer presentations

  • Create innovative solutions and demo elements across all clouds and on the platform using configuration, partner applications and platform/web development that WOW the customer

  • Develop demonstration preparation and presentation skills

  • Support RFI/RFP responses and resulting demos/presentations

  • Learn and stay up to date with the latest features, functions and solutions from Salesforce and translate them into value for our Non Profit customers. Share knowledge and updates with the wider SE team

  • Capture the learnings, assets and deliverables on each supported opportunity and develop a library of resources

  • Participate in training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in role

  • Function effectively in a fast-paced high-energy market segment and successfully balance multiple projects in a team-selling environment

Necessary skills

  • Knowledge, interest or background in the nonprofit market

  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve business and technical problems in varied political environments

  • Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to tailor delivery to your audience

  • Proven time management & prioritization skills

  • The desire to work with customers to solve complex problems

  • Knowledge of the Salesforce platform and products

  • Ability to learn technology quickly and apply your learnings to customer requirements

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with Salesforce solutions in a technical capacity, including platform development and Apex is a plus

  • Experience in a team-selling culture
