Description

Your job will be to provide best in class tools to employees that will allow us to continue to scale at the astronomical pace Salesforce has set. You should have a strong focus on user experience and a deep technical background so that you can help us to architect systems that can scale with the rapid growth of our Ohana.

Basic Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working on large-scale, complex web applications

  • 3+ years experience with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3, especially use within larger reusable frameworks

  • 3+ years experience with Java, or another object-oriented language (C#, C++, Python, Ruby, Objective-C, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of web security concepts

  • Understanding of object oriented design and MVC

  • Familiarity with Test Driven Development, and associated frameworks (JUnit and Cucumber a plus)

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to take ownership of projects and multi-task

  • Experience working within a global organization and distributed teams

  • Mobile web development and responsive web design experience

  • Experience with build processes including Gradle, and Webpack

  • Familiarity working in a Continuous Deployment pipeline

  • Familiarity deploying applications to Heroku

  • Familiarity with messaging, kafka experience desirable

  • Familiarity with a microservices architecture

  • Experience with elasticsearch

  • Experience developing with the AngularJs framework

  • Experience integrating with the Salesforce platform

  • Experience debugging code in an IDE such as IntelliJ

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or appropriate on job experience
