Salesforce’s Network Security team is seeking a Director/Sr. Manager to help secure the world’s #1 CRM. As a member of the Network Security Architecture team, you will be part of the team responsible for designing, building and maintaining innovative security services and solutions that support the needs of our internal and external customers. You'll be responsible and accountable for guiding Network Security technical direction within Salesforce public cloud environments. The team may work on any aspect of public cloud security, including security groups, network ACLs, mTLS, monitoring, and automation.

7+ years of experience in Network or Security Architecture/Engineering/Operations
5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in large scale cloud and distributed services
2+ years of experience in public cloud architecture and operations running in multiple substrates
Proven experience of leading and motivating a team of 5+ engineers in a challenging, dynamic and global environment
Strong distributed systems and architecture knowledge
Experience in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment
Minimum 3-5 years related people management experience
Hands on coding experience, in Python, Go, Ruby, C/C++, or Java
Bachelor's in Engineering/Computer Science or related industry (or equivalent experience)
Unix/Linux internal, deployment and maintenance experience
Infrastructure Security knowledge and experience
Prior understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with multi-tiered mission-critical systems
Solid hands-on technical background particularly in managing highly complex, multi-platform environments (servers, storage, networks, security, virtualisation, systems monitoring and management)
ISO 27001, PCI, SOC, FISMA, FedRAMP knowledge
Experience with SDN, NFV, network automation
