The Salesforce Business Technology team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering Services team to help build out best in class CI/CD pipelines and toolchains. We are looking for candidates with an infectious passion for DevOps culture and what to help spread that throughout our organization.Responsibilities:

  • Creating and improving CI/CD build pipelines

  • Providing best in class tooling and toolchain for our 100+ engineering teams

  • Building guardrails around development process

  • Having a security and trust mindset when designing and building systems

  • Help to spread a DevOps culture through our engineering organization

  • Consult with internal customers and act as an advocate in representing their requirements to teams and develop innovative ways to overcome their challenges

Required Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years work experience in a DevOps or similar role

  • In depth knowledge of:

  • Source Control Systems (Github, Gitlab)

  • CI Tooling (Jenkins, Circle-CI, Travis-CI)

  • Created build, test, deploy pipelines

  • Fluent in one or more scripting languages

  • Understands Object Oriented software design

  • Worked in a test driven development environment with a quality mindset

  • Worked with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloudformation)

  • Worked with automation tooling such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible

  • Experience working with the public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Worked with containers and K8S

  • Worked with cross geo teams

  • Worked in a large enterprise with a history of influencing change across many stakeholders

  • Worked in an Agile software development environment

  • Understanding of a Secure Software Development Lifecycle

  • Worked with force.com applications (Salesforce DX and scratch orgs a plus)
